John Schmidt Consulting Group Incorporated was established in 2006 to assist liquor licensed businesses of all types serve alcohol responsibly, and in doing so, reduce their exposure to alcohol related incidents, and the huge costs associated with them. Since then, we have provided responsible alcohol evaluations to bars, restaurants, night clubs, bowling alleys, and sports facilities nationwide. Mr. Schmidt is a former Alcohol Law Enforcement Officer, as well as a Restaurant and Concessions Manager. He offers that unique perspective when analyzing your business practices. As a Detective for the New Jersey State Police, he often saw the sad results of poor alcohol management, and liquor law compliance problems. More recently, Mr. Schmidt served as the Alcohol and Compliance Supervisor at the newly opened Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since the inception of JSCG, we have conducted evaluations for such notable Clients as Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, nationwide House of Blues locations, nationwide Lucky Strike Lanes locations, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Sacramento Kings. Mr. Schmidt is a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and a certified Trainer for the T.I.P.S Program, a nationwide service oriented responsible alcohol training program.
