Mr. Schmidt is highly trained and experienced in the field of Alcoholic Beverage Law and Compliance. He spent over 20 years as a New Jersey State Police Detective, where he specialized in all facets of Alcoholic Beverage Law Enforcement. During his Law Enforcement Career, he also served in the Intelligence and Applicant Investigation Units. He has over 500 successful court appearances to his credit.
More recently, Mr. Schmidt served as the Alcohol Compliance Supervisor at the newly opened Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, he was credited with implementing and maintaining Responsible Alcohol Sales and Compliance Programs for it's inaugural season, and has provided this valuable and important service to many other establisments and venues, including Atlanta's Georgia Dome.
Mr. Schmidt graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey in 1981. He has participated in numerous training programs conducted by the New Jersey State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Private Industry. He is also a Certified Trainer for the TIPS Program, (www.gettips.com) and the T.E.A.M. Coalition, which promote education for responsible fan behavior at sports and entertainment facilities, and an expert in the use of BIOMETRICS fingerprint, and electronic ID scanner technologies for age ID applications.
Mr. Schmidt has dedicated his professional life to responsible alcohol sales and will continue with that dedication at your facility.
